TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning today announced their 62-man roster for their 2018 Training Camp which opens on Thursday, September 13 at AMALIE Arena with medical and physical testing. The full roster features 37 forwards, 19 defensemen and six goaltenders. Those number include all 24 players that represented the Lightning in the 2018 Prospect Showcase which took place this past weekend in Estero, Florida. Players are expected to begin the media day portion around 10 a.m. after testing is complete, although that time is subject to change. The camp roster and schedule for the start of camp are below. Practices at the Ice Sports Forum are free and open to the public.

The Lightning return almost the same line-up as the team that fell in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final last season, including captain Steven Stamkos and Norris Trophy-winning defenseman Victor Hedman. Forward Nikita Kucherov enters camp after signing a long-term contract during the offseason. Defenseman Ryan McDonagh, acquired at last year's trade deadline and re-signed during the summer, returns healthy and ready for a full training camp with the Lightning. Tampa Bay also enters the season with two new faces in the coaches office, with Derek Lalonde joining from the Minnesota Wild organization and Jeff Halpern being promoted from Syracuse of the AHL.
The Lightning's annual Fan Fest, presented by Florida Blue, will still be held on Saturday, September 23 at AMALIE Arena. The event is free and open to the public, but fans must obtain a mobile ticket by visiting
