Led by a four-point first period from Mikhail Sergachev, the Lightning built a big lead and cruised down the stretch for a 6-3 victory over the Capitals at AMALIE Arena on Sunday.
The victory snaps Tampa Bay's short two-game skid and avenges the 5-1 loss suffered to Washington on Friday in D.C.

Sergachev factored on each of the Lightning's four first period goals. He opened the scoring at 1:23, assisted on goals from Nikita Kucherov and Nick Perbix midway through the period, before adding a power play goal late to cap off a dominating 20 minutes.
After Washington scored the lone goal of the second period, the teams evenly split four goals in the third, including the first of Cole Koepke's NHL career.
The Bolts will remain home into next week and are back in action on Tuesday against Dallas.
