The Lightning were unable to sustain a fast start and fell 5-3 to the Bruins on Monday at AMALIE Arena.

Things started well, with the Bolts flying out of the gates and grabbing the lead midway through the first on Nick Paul's seventh goal of the season, but Boston was given life late in the period on a soft goal allowed by Andrei Vasilevskiy.
With the game tied, Boston dominated the middle portion of the contest, building up a big lead with four-unanswered goals.
Tampa Bay made things interesting in the third, scoring twice to cut the deficit to two but that's as close as they would get.
With the loss, Tampa Bay sees its season-long four-game winning streak come to an end.
The Bolts will be back in action after Thanksgiving when they host the Blues on Friday.
Scoring Summary
1st Period
TBL 1, BOS 0
8:57 Nick Paul (7) - Steven Stamkos, Alex Killorn
After a dominating start, the Lightning got the much-deserved first goal of the game nine minutes in. From below the goal line, Steven Stamkos connected with Nick Paul in front and his shot split two Bruins skaters and beat Linus Ullmark.
TBL 1, BOS 1
15:36 David Krejci (6) - Charlie McAvoy, Matt Grzelcyk
A David Krejci slapshot from the right circle off the rush got past Andrei Vasilevskiy to tie the game late in the first period. Coming from distance and without any traffic impairing his vision, it was a shot Vasilevskiy should have stopped, but he got caught off his line.
2nd Period
BOS 2, TBL 1
5:07 Nick Foligno (4) - Pavel Zacha, David Krejci - PPG
Boston went in front with a power play goal five minutes into the second period. Pavel Zacha's one-timer was stopped by Vasilevskiy, but Nick Foligno dove to whack home the rebound before Victor Hedman could clear it out of danger.
BOS 3, TBL 1
5:38 Charlie Coyle (6) - Trent Frederic, Taylor Hall
Initially called no goal on the ice, a quick review revealed Charlie Coyle had actually jammed the puck over the line at the far post as the net came dislodged. It was Boston's second goal in a 21 second span and opened a two-goal lead for the visitors.
BOS 4, TBL 1
15:08 Brad Marchand (6) - Jake DeBrusk, Patrice Bergeron
Jake DeBrusk's shot was blocked by Brandon Hagel and popped up in the air. Brad Marchand swooped through the slot, gloved it to the ice and lifted a shot over Vasilevskiy to cap a dominating second period from the Bruins. With the secondary assist on the goal, Patrice Bergeron recorded the 1,000th point of his NHL career.
3rd Period
BOS 5, TBL 1
3:51 David Pastrnak (12) - Jake DeBrusk, Charlie McAvoy - PPG
The Lightning's deficit grew to four on a David Pastrnak power play goal early in the third. Pastrnak got open at the backdoor and put home DeBrusk's cross-crease feed.
BOS 5, TBL 2
4:02 Rudolfs Balcers (3) - Pat Maroon
Just 11 seconds later, Pat Maroon forced a turnover in the slot and set up Rudolfs Balcers for his first goal as a Bolt.
BOS 5, TBL 3
10:38 Nick Paul (8) - Victor Hedman, Pat Maroon - PPG
Paul's second of the night made it a two-goal game midway through the third period. On a power play, Hedman teed up Paul for a one-timer from the right circle that Ullmark couldn't keep out.
