2013-14 SEASON: Skated in 75 games with the Lightning, posting 13 goals and 55 points to go along with 53 penalty minutes…Set new career-highs for goals, assists and points in a season...Led all Lightning defensemen for goals, assists and points…His 55 points this season ranks 3rd on the Lightning’s all-time single-season record list for points by a defenseman…Ranked 5th in the NHL among defensemen for points and was 9nth (tie-Barrie) for goals…Ranked 2nd in the league among defensemen for multi-point games with 15…Tied his career-high for most points and assists in a single game with 3 on Jan. 25 vs. COL…Skated in his 300th career NHL game on Jan. 16 at NYI…Missed 6 games with a lower body injury (Dec. 7-17)….2014 Playoffs: Skated in all 4 Lightning postseason games, recording 1 goal and 3 points.


SEASON PREVIEW IN 50 WORDS OR LESS:Hedman had a breakout season in 2013-14 setting career highs in goals, assists and points along while continuing to evolve into one of the best defenders. There’s no reason to believe that his path of growth will change in 2014-15.
