A pair of big games from Brandon Hagel contributed to the Lightning's three-game winning streak last week.

Hagel scored and added a pair of assists in Tampa Bay's 4-1 win over the Devils to start the week. He picked up the primary assist on Anthony Cirelli's first period shorthanded goal, using his speed to create an odd man rush on the play. Hagel then scored the eventual game-winner midway through the second period on a wrist shot from the left circle. To cap the performance, Hagel forced a turnover in the neutral zone that eventually led to Alex Killorn's insurance marker later in the period.

TBL vs. MTL | Hagel sets career high in goals

On Saturday against Montreal, Hagel recorded his second career hat trick in the Lightning's 5-3 victory. He buried a rebound at the side of the net in the second period, added the game-winner on a redirection six minutes into the third and comleted the hat trick with an empty netter in the closing seconds of regulation. Hagel joins Steven Stamkos as the only Bolts to record a hat trick so far this season.
Hagel's 59 points currently rank as the fourth-most on the team.
