Even as the Lightning's offense was mostly held in check last week, superb play from Andrei Vasilevskiy in goal helped Tampa Bay claim three of a possible four points.

Vasilevskiy began the week with a 29-save performance against the Hurricanes on Tuesday that ended in an overtime loss. Vasilevskiy was sharp in the early going, stopping 22 shots over the first two periods before conceding the equalizer late in the third and the game-winner in overtime.
On Saturday, Vasilevskiy was on the winning end of an overtime game, as the Bolts downed Florida 3-2. Vasilevskiy allowed goals on back-to-back shots in the second period but stopped everything else to record the win. Vasilevskiy's best save of the night - and week - came in overtime when he extended far to his left to get a glove on Aaron Ekblad's shot at the near post to keep the Bolts alive in the extra frame.
On Tampa Bay's current eight-game point streak, Vasilevskiy has a 5-0-2 record, .947 save percentage and a goals against average of 1.54.
