Goaltender Peter Budaj had to be helped off the ice midway through the third period after being taken down by Philadelphia's Scott Laughton.

Laughton appeared to lose an edge behind the Tampa Bay net and came crashing into the crease, taking out Budaj's left leg in the process.
Budaj was unable to put weight on his leg and needed to be helped to the bench by the Lightning's medical staff.
This was the veteran goaltender's seventh start of the season for the Bolts and the first action he had seen since Dec. 16 in Colorado. Budaj had won three of his last four starts entering tonight's contest.
Andrei Vasilevskiy was summoned to replace Budaj in net and stopped all four shots he faced.
