Tampa Bay will be without forward Ondrej Palat when the Lightning visit the Florida Panthers tonight, the second half of a back-to-back set for the Bolts.

Palat sustained an upper-body injury and is day-to-day the team announced as warmups got under way at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
Palat has played 39 games for the Lightning this season, contributing seven goals and 14 assists. He ranks tied for 10th on the Bolts for scoring. He's Tampa Bay's all-time franchise leader for plus-minus (+103).
Palat missed 16-consecutive games from October 27 to November 27 with a lower-body injury. He's posted seven goals and 16 points in 30 games since, and the Lightning are 23-4-3 following his return.
With Palat, a key member of the Tampa Bay's forward group out, right winger Ryan Callahan returns to the lineup after a three-game absence. Callahan has seven goals and 17 points in 37 career games against the Panthers.
The Lightning are looking to sweep both halves of a back-to-back against Florida after downing the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4 Saturday night at AMALIE Arena. The win was the Bolts' 40th of the season, the sixth-consecutive season Tampa Bay has reached the 40-win mark and 10th time in franchise history.
