Lightning forward misses game against Calgary Flames as Bolts start three-game road trip

Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov missed Wednesday's game against the Calgary Flames with a lower-body injury. He is day-to-day.

No other details were released by the team. Kucherov left the ice for approximately the final 10 minutes of the team's Tuesday practice in Tampa Bay before flying to Calgary. Kucherov did participate in an optional morning skate on Wednesday.
The Lightning left wing leads the Lightning in scoring with 13 goals and 30 points in 28 games this season.
The Lightning re-signed Kucherov to a three-year contract worth an average of $4.766 million per season on October 11.
