Under new head coach Rod Brind'Amour, the Carolina Hurricanes have gotten off to an impressive start. Heading into Tuesday's contest at Amalie Arena, the Hurricanes had gone 4-1-1, had outshot their opponents in every game, had eclipsed 30 shots in all of those games and had reached 40 or more shots in four of the six. They play with pace and, as their high shot total would indicate, funnel a lot of pucks to the opposition net.
