by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning

Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop ranked fourth on NHL Network’s new countdown series Top 10 Goalies Right Now this past Saturday night, ranking the best goalies in the National Hockey League.

Bishop finished one spot ahead of 2011 William M. Jennings Trophy winner Cory Schneider of the New Jersey Devils and one spot behind 2012 Conn Smythe Trophy winner Jonathan Quick of the Los Angeles Kings.

NHL Network’s Tony Luftman and Mike Johnson counted down the best goalies based on player performance over the past several seasons, with an emphasis on the 2015-2016 season. The ranking also weighted projected performance in the 2016-2017 season, taking into account players returning from injury and young players expected to break out.
