TAMPA – Sun Sports, the regional television home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, announced today the network will be re-airing “Lightning University’s Hockey 101” program several times in the next few weeks. Hosted by Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik and Vice President of Community Affairs / Sun Sports Lightning analyst Dave Andreychuk, “Lightning University’s Hockey 101” will provide viewers statewide with hockey lessons ranging from jargon to advance plays in order to help the everyday fan continue to grow and learn about the sport of hockey.
“We are extremely proud of our Lightning University program and we’re very excited about broadcasting our Hockey 101 session to fans on Sun Sports,” Vinik said. “Lightning University has been well-received by our fans since its inception and we’re looking forward to using some of our most knowledgeable people to bring the program to a television audience. We’d like to thank Sun Sports for making this all possible.”
Sun Sports Lightning hosts Paul Kennedy and Kelly Nash will moderate the program, which will include a live question and answer session with Head Coach Jon Cooper.
