LIGHTNING TO HOST PIG ROAST WITH STANLEY CUP PRIOR TO THURSDAY GAME AGAINST CAROLINA

The Tampa Bay Lightning will host a pig roast with the Stanley Cup prior to their game against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday, October 26. The Stanley Cup will be in attendance to commemorate the meeting of the previous two champions.
In honor of the Hurricanes' mascot, Stormy the Ice Pig, the Lightning will host a pig roast on the plaza starting a 5 p.m. The Stanley Cup will be present on the plaza from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The Stanley Cup will remain at the St. Pete Times Forum for the entire evening, spending time with sponsors from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and joining fans purchasing tickets from 7:30 p.m. until the end of the first period. It will spend the second period in the AFS Club and the third in the XO VIP Club. The Cup will then join fans post-game at Shots at Channelside.
This is the second of eight meetings this season between the previous two Stanley Cup Champions. Carolina won the first meeting on October 16.
