TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning are teaming up with the Bradenton Marauders, the class A-Advanced affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, to present "Hockey Night" at McKechnie Field in Bradenton on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive at the game early to join the Lightning Girls and ThunderBug for pre-game entertainment with corn hole, a prize wheel and many giveaways starting at 5 p.m. Everyone in attendance will receive a Tampa Bay Storm ticket voucher by going to the Rolling Thunder truck. Also, the first 500 fans will receive a 2012-13 Lightning yearbook.
Lightning Season Ticket Members will also receive a $5 ticket if they wear their STM jersey or show their membership card. Upon entrance, the first 500 fans will be given a foam puck courtesy of Ellenton Ice. Bobby "The Chief" Taylor, color commentator for Lightning Hockey on Sun Sports, will also be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and meet with the fans during the game.
There will be food and drink specials, hockey atmosphere and an auction with many great Lightning memorabilia with proceeds from Lightning items to benefit the Lightning Foundation.
