TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning will host 'Go Green Night', presented by Tervis, Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, Tampa Electric, Mosaic, Waste Connections and Peoples Gas, to encourage sustainability initiatives and environmental awareness when the team takes on the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday, March 5 at AMALIE Arena.

The Lightning are encouraging their fans coming to the game to ride their bikes to AMALIE Arena. Fans that bike to the game can utilize Alert Today Florida's complimentary bike valet which will be located on Ford Thunder Alley. The first 1,000 fans entering at the Chase entrance will also be receiving a free reusable Chase co-branded bag.
Tervis will be rewarding fans for recycling with the "Caught Green Handed" campaign during the game. The "Caught Green Handed" campaign is to encourage fans to make decisions that positively impact the environment. TECO Energy will be on Ford Thunder Alley showing off different electric vehicles and how they positively impact the environment. Three fans will have the chance to win a 2019 Lightning All-Star jersey. adidas and the NHL used an eco-innovative and ocean-inspired adizero All-Star jersey, the first-ever jersey featuring repurposed and upcycled materials created in partnership with Parley for the Oceans.
Fans will have the opportunity to participate in the "#TakeYourTervis" pledge at section 128 and get a $10 credit towards their next Tervis purchase. The pledge represents fan's commitment to join Tervis in reducing single use plastic. As part of Tervis' longstanding commitment to sustainability they have developed a new program that gives tumblers a new life in the form of benches and chairs.
