by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning
The Tampa Bay Lightning will host ‘Go Green Night,’ presented by Proshred, Tampa Electric, Peoples Gas and Coca-Cola, to encourage recycling and environmental awareness on Saturday, March 17 when they take on the St. Louis Blues at 7 p.m. at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Fans who bring St. Louis Blues jerseys, hats or t-shirts, as well as personal documents or old phone books, to be shredded by Proshred will receive tickets at a discounted rate, including $45 promenade corner seats or $70 club sideline seats. This special ticket incentive will take place on the west plaza prior to the game; however quantities are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who participate.

City Bike Tampa has organized for people who ride their bike to the game an opportunity to purchase tickets at a discounted rate, $45 promenade corner and $13 for terrace endzone seats. The bike parking area will be staffed throughout the game. Speedling Incorporated will also distribute approximately 2,500 seedlings to any guest that would like to take one home after the game. There will also be a table on the concourse where fans can receive information on the Lightning’s green efforts.
