Lightning to Host Day at Tampa Bay Skating Academy

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning will host ‘Lightning Day with TBSA’ on Sunday, January 25 from noon until 3 p.m. The Tampa Bay Skating Academy (TBSA) will also host a program open house.

TBSA will welcome in skaters of all ages, including beginners with no hockey experience, for games and on-ice clinics. Outdoor entertainment and games will be available for the duration of the event. On-ice clinics for children ages 3-9 will take place from 1:15-1:45 p.m. with children 10 or older skating from 1:45-2:15 p.m. While the on-ice clinics are full, the outdoor entertainment and games are open to the public.

Games outside of the clinics include slapshot game, puck shooting machine, street hockey and more. There will also be a question and answer session with Lightning Assistant Coach Wes Walz.
