TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning announced today that the team has begun auctioning off the warm-up jerseys worn during the Vincent Lecavalier jersey number retirement game at

. The on-line jersey auction ends on Tuesday, February 20 at 11 p.m.

The jerseys being auctioned off will be the set the Lightning players wore during warm-ups prior to their game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. Each player wore a throwback white jersey that the Lightning wore during their 2004 Stanley Cup Championship season. All jerseys included the player's last name and Lecavalier's number 4, along with the special patch to honor the former Lightning forward. Additionally, each jersey has been signed by the Lightning player and Lecavalier.
Half of the proceeds from the auction will benefit All Children's Hospital and the other half will be donated to the Lightning Foundation. The Lightning Foundation is dedicated to investing its resources and leadership for the enrichment of the people of Tampa Bay, focusing on meeting basic human needs and enhancing lives. The Lightning are committed to leading by example and inspiring others in order to make a lasting impact in the Tampa Bay community.
