. About the DAF:
The mission of the Dave Andreychuk Foundation is to assist children in need, to support causes for children and families enduring chronic and/or life-threatening illness, and to encourage the investment in youth and amateur sports. Andreychuk, captain of the Lightning’s 2004 Stanley Cup team, retired from the National Hockey League in 2007. Following his retirement, Andreychuk founded the DAF. Locally, the organization has supported St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center and Tampa Bay youth hockey. The DAF also supports children’s charities and youth hockey in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario. About Shriners Hospitals for Children®:
