Lightning Strike in Lakeland

by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning
On Saturday, July 18, the Lighting Caravan travelled a few miles up I-4 to visit the Lakeland Center, in Lakeland, Florida.

Inside the Center former Lightning stars Brian Bradley and Chris Dingman were on hand, along with ThunderBug, the Lightning Girls and Energy Team.  They were all joined in the Center’s popular open skating sessions, signed autographs and took photos.  The Lakeland Center hosts public skating sessions each summer.

Meanwhile outside of the Lakeland Center, the Lightning hosted street hockey games, a moonbounce and handed out free Vinny Lecavalier bobbleheads to the Lightning fans in Polk County.
