Lightning Round: You played in Vancouver for so long, can you explain exactly what a Canuck is?
Mattias Ohlund: That’s a trick question.  It’s a Canadian, kind of like an American I guess.  That’s what a Canuck is ….. I think, after 11 years there.

LR: You are a big soccer fan.  Who is your favorite team and why?
MO: Manchester United.  I always loved them and watched them growing up.  They’ve always had a good team over the years.

LR: IKEA recently came to Tampa, do people in Sweden actually shop at IKEA?
MO: Absolutely.  We have one a couple hours from our home.  On weekends a lot of my friends go down there and spend the whole day shopping at IKEA.

LR: What is your favorite thing about Tampa so far?
MO: I think the people.  The weather is obvious, but the people have been very friendly, outgoing and easy-going.

LR: You’ll be wearing No. 5 with the Lightning this season, is there any significance in why you chose that number?
MO: No. I had number two and I heard that was taken.  I felt it was time for something new so I asked what numbers were available and they said three and five.  Five sounded good.

LR: Would you rather watch a movie or read a book?  Do you have a favorite?
MO: I’d like to say read a book, but probably watch a movie. I don’t think I could pick one favorite.

LR: If you had to pick someone to play you in a movie who would it be?
MO: That’s a good question.  Wow.  How about Brad Pitt?

LR: If you could be in a band, which one would you be in and which instrument would you play?
MO: I would be the lead singer for U2.

LR: If you could be teleported anywhere in the world right now where would it be and why?
MO: You know I’m very happy here.  How about Tampa? I don’t want to go anywhere else at the moment.

LR: What is your favorite thing to do on a day off during the season?
MO: Just spend time with my kids and my wife.

LR: What is something fans may not know about you?
MO: I’m not that exciting.
