LIGHTNING REDUCE CAMP ROSTER BY 18

39 PLAYERS REMAIN AS TEAM EMBARKS ON 2-GAME PRESEASON ROAD TRIP

The Tampa Bay Lightning reduced their training camp roster by 18 players today, it was announced by Executive Vice President & General Manager Jay Feaster. After today, 39 players remain in Lightning camp. Following are the 18 players who have been reassigned:

In addition to the cuts, defenseman Brady Greco underwent shoulder surgery on September 12 and is sidelined six to eight weeks.

The Lightning travel to Washington tonight in preparation for tomorrow night's preseason opener at the Capitals (7 p.m., AM 620 WDAE). The team then heads to Detroit to face the Red Wings on Friday (7:30 p.m., AM 620 WDAE). Saturday, September 23 is scheduled as a day off, and the Lightning will face the Dallas Stars in the preseason home opener on Sunday, September 24 (7 p.m., AM 620 WDAE).
