The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled defenseman Scott Jackson from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League today, Executive Vice President and General Manager Brian Lawton announced. He will wear No. 58.
Jackon, 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, has played in 72 games this season, recording, a goal and 15 points. If he plays, he will make his NHL debut.
A native of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Jackson spent his junior career with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL. During that time he amassed 326 games played and recorded 23 goals with 119 points. He also appeared in 42 playoff games, recording four goals and 17 points.
Jackson was originally drafted by the Blues and was signed by the Lightning on July 3, 2008.
