The 2004 Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning have re-assigned right wing Jim Campbell to Springfield of the American Hockey League, Executive Vice President and General Manager Jay Feaster announced.

A 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Worcester, Massachusetts, Campbell skated in one game with the Lightning and landed one hit in 8:47 of ice time. He also blocked one shot. In 27 games with the Falcons this season he scored 10 goals while dishing out eight assists. He has scored four power play goals.

Campbell, 32, is in his ninth NHL season and his first with Tampa Bay. He has skated in 285 NHL games during his career and has netted 61 goals and 136 points. The Lightning signed him as a free agent on August 18, 2005.
