by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning

Goaltender Dustin Tokarski made 20 saves and the Tampa Bay Lightning's prospects outshot Atlanta, 26-21, but it wasn't enough as the Thrashers held on for a 1-0 victory in the opening game for both teams at the Traverse City Prospects Tournament.

Atlanta defenseman Paul Postma's goal at 14:56 of the first period held up as both teams finished 0-for-8 on the power-play in the penalty filled affair at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City, Michigan. Lightning defenseman Ty Wishart led all players with six shots on goal, while defenseman Daryl Boyle and center Chris Lawrence recorded four each.

Atlanta goaltender Christopher Carrozzi earned the shutout with 26 saves. Tampa Bay will be back in action tomorrow when it faces Detroit at 6:30 p.m.
