Lightning prospects Adam Erne and Anthony DeAngelo named to Team USA Prelim Roster

Lightning prospects Adam Erne and Anthony DeAngelo are part of 30 players who have been named to the Team USA National Junior Team prelim roster in preparation for the World Junior Championship which is being held December 26-January 5 in Toronto and Montreal.

Lightning prospect Brayden Point was named to the Hockey Canada selection camp on Monday.

Erne, who the Lightning selected in the second round at the 2013 NHL draft, played last season for Team USA at the World Juniors. The winger has scored 39 points in 23 games so far this season with the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL.

DeAngelo, who the Lightning picked in the first round of the 2014 NHL draft, was named to the camp roster last season with Team USA but didn't make the final roster for the World Juniors. The defenseman with a knack for scoring has scored 27 points in 22 games for the Sarnia Sting in the OHL this season.
