After clinching their fourth consecutive playoff berth due to a Toronto loss Thursday night, Tampa Bay Lightning mascot ThunderBug will move from his home to the roof of the St. Pete Times Forum tonight. He will live on the roof until the first home game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is sold out.
Tampa Bay Lightning playoff tickets went on sale on April 3. Individual tickets are now available for all possible home games of the Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals, with prices starting as low as $23.75. The Lightning’s first-round opponent has not been determined.
Additionally, 200 tickets priced at $8 will be made available at the McDonald’s Box Office at the St. Pete Times Forum Box Office for each game of the Lightning’s 2007 NHL Stanley Cup Playoff run presented by Sweetbay. Those tickets will be sold beginning at 9 a.m. on each game day. These tickets will only be sold through the St. Pete Times Forum Box Office, two tickets per person and none will be available over the phone, via ticketmaster or on any website.
While on the roof, ThunderBug will have the time of his life thanks the following sponsors: T.G. Lee, Kane’s Furniture, Pepsi, Buddy’s Home Furnishings, Zephyrhills, Barnacles Restaurant and Red Bull.
