TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning's community hockey department, Lightning Made, are launching their new website, www.LightningMadeHockey.com. The website is a resource for people of the Tampa Bay region of all skill levels to connect to the sport of hockey and gain information about opportunities to learn to play or join leagues currently being operated by the Lightning.
The website is the new location for all details about the many programs the community hockey department currently operates including Learn to Play, Girls Hockey, the Lightning High School Hockey League, disabled hockey, sled hockey, camps and clinics. All registration for Lightning Made community hockey events will also be hosted on the new site. Full details about the Lightning Made Training Center including events and programs and a calendar listing all their events can be found on the website.
The Lightning partnered with SportsEngine on the development of the new website. The site will include all of Lightning Made's disabled hockey disciplines programming including blind hockey, deaf/hard of hearing hockey, sled hockey, special hockey, standing/amputee hockey and warrior hockey.
