The Tampa Bay Lightning will participate in USA Hockey's Try Hockey For Free Day this Saturday, November 12 at multiple ice rinks across the state, as part of Come Play Hockey Month. Try Hockey For Free gives free ice time for children who would like to try the sport.

Try Hockey For Free Day is a USA Hockey initiative in which 500 local associations across the country will encourage kids, ages 4-9, to come to a participating rink and try youth hockey as part of Come Play Hockey Month. All locations will have equipment to loan to those who need it, although supplies are limited. In order to participate children must be registered at www.TryHockeyForFree.com.
