Lightning Invite Fans to Go 'Beyond the Blue Line'

by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning
The Tampa Bay Lightning will host “Beyond the Blue Line” open houses for interested fans throughout the summer. The open houses will be hosted in the Lightning locker room by members of the team’s ownership group, hockey operations management, coaching staff and broadcasters.

“Beyond the Blue Line” is the perfect opportunity for fans that have been thinking about purchasing Lightning season tickets or want to find out more about the variety of options and cost savings the team offers. It is a great chance for fans to visit with Lightning management in a fun and relaxed setting while checking out the best available seats for the upcoming season. Fans also will get the opportunity to tour the Tampa Bay Lightning locker room, including the players lounge, the main dressing room and the team’s new renovated strength and conditioning facility.

“This is an exceptional opportunity for our fans to get a behind the scenes look at not only the St. Pete Times Forum, but our plans for the upcoming year,“ Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brad Lott said. “Beyond the Blue Line allows fans to interact with some of the Lightning personnel while hearing about all the great options we have available for next season.”

Already scheduled to appear during the summer at various dates are Owner & Governor Oren Koules, Executive Vice President and General Manager Brian Lawton, Coach Rick Tocchet, Assistant Coach Wes Walz, Strength and Conditioning Coach Chuck Lobe, former Captain and Community Representative Dave Andreychuk, radio host Chris Dingman, television play-by-play announcer Rick Peckham, radio play-by-play announcer Dave Mishkin and color commentators Phil Esposito and Bobby “the Chief” Taylor.
