Lightning host youth hockey clinics this summer

by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning
The Tampa Bay Lightning will host two summer hockey clinics for youth hockey players, ages 6-18, on Monday, July 9 at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum and Monday, July 16 at the Orlando RDV Sportsplex. Both five-day clinics, which run from Monday through Friday, will start at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 4:30 p.m.

The Lightning Summer Camp is a fun, yet high-tempo program designed to help boys and girls develop hockey skills, conditioning and power skating. Players will receive on-ice instruction from Lightning alumni, including two-time NHL All-Star Brian Bradley. Former Lightning captain Dave Andreychuk will also make an appearance at both clinics.

The cost of the clinics is $399 per player for the week-long event and also includes lunch each day and a Lightning jersey. Fans can register for the clinics online at
