Lightning Hockey Night

by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning
Lightning Hockey Night, the Tampa Bay Lightning weekly radio show, will be on the air Wednesday night on AM 620 WDAE from 7-8 p.m.

Wednesday's show will feature hosts Rick Peckham, the Lightning's television play-by-play announcer, and former Lightning forward Chris Dingman. Chris played in Tampa Bay for four seasons and was a part of the 2003-04 Stanley Cup Championship season.

Rick and Chris will spend the program talking with new Lightning goaltender Olaf Kolzig and defenseman Paul Ranger as the summer winds down and training camp quickly approaches.

Joining the program at 7:15 p.m. will be Kolzig. He comes to Tampa Bay with 15 years of Southeast Division experience playing for the Washington Capitals. Kolzig has a career 2.70 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. On March 12, he became the 23rd goaltender in NHL history to record 300 wins with a 24-save win against Calgary.

At 7:30 p.m., Ranger will call in to give an update on his shoulder rehab, as well as his preparations throughout the summer for upcoming training camp.

Tune in to Lightning Hockey Night this week and every Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. on AM 620 WDAE.
