Lightning Hockey Night

by Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning

Lightning Hockey Night, the Tampa Bay Lightning weekly radio show, will be on the air tonight on AM 620 WDAE from 7-8 p.m.

Tonight's show will feature hosts Rick Peckham, the Lightning's television play-by-play announcer, and former Lightning forward Chris Dingman. Chris played in Tampa Bay for four seasons and was a part of the 2003-04 Stanley Cup Championship season.

Norfolk head coach Darren Rumble will join the show at 7:15 p.m. Rumble has been spending the week in Victoria, British Columbia, at the Lightning's prospect camp. On top of getting a good look at what will likely be some of next season's new Admirals, Rumble has also been one of the most active coaches at the camp.

Rumble was a member of the Lightning from 2002-04 and he was the assistant coach in Norfolk last season. He, Rick and Chris will talk about the Stamkos buzz going on around camp and he'll give some insight as to who is climbing the ladder in the Lightning organization.

Joining the show at 7:30 p.m. will be ESPN commentator Steve Levy. Levy is an ESPN SportsCenter anchor and a former co-host of NHL 2Nite with Lightning head coach Barry Melrose on EPSN 2. Levy will chat with Rick and Chris about his time with Melrose, as well as give his thoughts on the upcoming NHL season.

Tune in to Lightning Hockey Night this week and every Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. on AM 620 WDAE.
