Lightning Fan Day at Great Explorations Children's Museum set to kick off Saturdayby Staff Writer / Tampa Bay Lightning
The Tampa Bay Lightning will host Lightning Fan Day at Great Explorations Children’s Museum, located at 1925 4th St. N. in St. Petersburg, on Saturday, January 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to recognize hockey fans throughout the Bay Area for their support of the team.
Fans should arrive early at the event to score an exclusive meet and greet with Thunderbug, the Lightning Girls and 2004 Lightning Stanley Cup Champion Stan Neckar from 10-11 a.m. The Lightning’s mobile marketing truck, Rolling Thunder, will also be present and there will also be an opportunity for kids to participate in a number of activities including arts and crafts and more.
Admission is free for all 2011-12 Lightning Season Ticket Members and individuals with a Thunderbug Kids Club membership card. Parents will also receive the special discounted rate of admission of $7.
