Ticket Program Allows Military Members to See Lightning Playoff Games at Half Price

The Tampa Bay Lightning and MacDill Federal Credit Union are working together to provide active and retired members of the military and their dependents select tickets for games three, four and six of the first round of the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs at a 50% discount. Regular prices on the available tickets range from $25.50-$125.50.

"All of us at the Lightning and the St. Pete Times Forum appreciate our military and its work in defending and preserving our freedoms," said Ron Campbell, President of the Lightning and the St. Pete Times Forum. "We have worked hard for the past several years to show our appreciation with ticket offers and other opportunities allowing military members and their loved ones to enjoy a diversion from their every day lives. We thank MacDill Federal Credit Union for getting involved and helping make this playoff opportunity available."

Those with valid military, retired military or dependent military identification can purchase up to four tickets at the McDonald's Box Office in the St. Pete Times Forum at the 50% discounted rate while supplies last. Purchases must be made in person with cash or charge. For more information on the ticket program, military members can call 813.301.2500.
