Lightning, Capitals Game 3 Set For 6:30 P.M. Tuesday

The Eastern Conference Semifinal Game 3 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 3 at the St. Pete Times Forum, the National Hockey League announced today. The game time had previously been listed as TBD.

The game will air live locally on Sun Sports with the pre-game show, Lightning LIVE!, starting at 6 p.m. followed by the puck drop at 6:30 p.m. Fans may also listen to all the action on the air waves by tuning in to WFLA 970-AM.

The two clubs open up the second-round series tonight at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC at 7 p.m. Following tonight’s action, the teams will play once more in the nation’s capital before the series shifts to Tampa Bay for Tuesday’s Game 3. The Lightning and Capitals will face off again Wednesday night at the Times Forum before returning to Washington for Game 5.
