"We would like to welcome Coors Light to the Lightning organization as a multi-year partner," Lightning Chief Operating Officer Steve Griggs said. "We are also proud to put the Coors Light name on our new organ deck, the signature area that we feel all our fans will enjoy as a unique place in the arena unlike any other in the NHL. I would like to thank Coors Light for its dedication to the Lightning and look forward to growing our relationship for years to come."
Between the Pipes, presented by Coors Light, part of this summer's $40 million St. Pete Times Forum transformation project, will serve as a destination area inside the arena. It will feature an entertainment stage, full service bar, and will be located between sections 322 and 325 on the Terrace Level at the Times Forum.
"Coors Light is the official beer sponsor of the NHL, so our partnership with the Lightning is a great opportunity to reinforce here in Tampa Bay that a beer as cold as the Rockies is the perfect way to celebrate a Lightning victory," said John Gavin, MillerCoors general manager-sales for Florida. "And this alliance further strengthens the MillerCoors commitment to Tampa Bay and its sports fans, with Miller Lite as an official sponsor with the Buccaneers and Rays."
