The Lightning's first-ever visit to Seattle was a victorious one. Victor Hedman scored a pair of goals and Steven Stamkos, skating in his 900th career game, added three assists, as Tampa Bay defeated the Kraken 4-1 at Climate Pledge Arena.

After former Bolt Yanni Gourde gave the Kraken the lead with a power play goal 2:38 into the game, Tampa Bay reeled off each of the game's next four tallies.
Nikita Kucherov ended a seven-game goalless drought with the equalizer less than four minutes after Gourde's goal. The Lightning then took the lead for good midway through the second on Hedman's first of the night. Anthony Cirelli and Hedman put the game away in the third with insurance markers.
With the win, Tampa Bay completes a sweep of the two-game regular season series against the NHL's newest franchise.
The Lightning will now return home following the 3-3-0 trip out west to host the Rangers at AMALIE Arena on Saturday.
Scoring Summary
1st Period
SEA 1, TBL 0
2:38 Yanni Gourde (14) - Jordan Eberle, Vince Dunn - PPG
A familiar face lit the lamp first and gave the Kraken the lead less than three minutes into the first period. Penalties on Ondrej Palat and Matheiu Joseph gave Seattle a brief eight-second 5-on-3 power play. Tampa Bay killed off the remainder of Palat's penalty, but before he could get back in the play, Jorden Eberle threaded a pass through the middle of the ice to Yanni Gourde at the right circle, and he fired a one-timer past Andrei Vasilevskiy at the near post.
SEA 1, TBL 1
6:26 Nikita Kucherov (11) - Steven Stamkos
A wayward Kraken pass at their offensive blue line was controlled by Nikita Kucherov and he dished ahead to Steven Stamkos, setting up an odd man rush the other way. Stamkos lifted a saucer feed over a sliding Adam Larsson's stick to Kucherov, who snapped it past Philipp Grubauer.
2nd Period
TBL 2, SEA 1
8:48 Victor Hedman (16) - Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov - PPG
The Lightning cashed in on the third power play of the night to take the lead. Stamkos banked a pass off the boards to Victor Hedman at the left point. Hedman wound up a slapshot that beat Grubauer to the near post with Corey Perry setting an effective screen in front.
3rd Period
TBL 3, SEA 1
0:23 Anthony Cirelli (14) - Ondrej Palat, Brayden Point
Tampa Bay got a key insurance goal from Anthony Cirelli in the opening minute of third period. Brayden Point had the initial chance on a breakaway that was stopped by Grubauer, but Seattle couldn't clear the puck from danger. Eventually it was Cirelli who found the loose puck and fired it home to extend the lead to 3-1.
TBL 4, SEA 1
14:26 Victor Hedman (17) - Steven Stamkos, Brayden Point - PPG
Hedman put the game out of reach with his second goal of the night at 14:26 of the third period. Stamkos picked up his third assist on the play, teeing up Hedman for a one-timed blast from the high slot.
