TAMPA BAY – Veteran broadcast journalist Deborah Norville will speak and sign copies of her new book, Thank You Power, on Monday, October 1, at Robb & Stucky Interiors, International Plaza. The event, presented by Tampa Bay area BMW Dealers and community friends RE/MAX, Tampa Bay’s 10 WTSP TV and Robb & Stucky Interiors, as well as the Lightning Foundation, will benefit the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute.

The evening kicks off at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, hors d’oevres, a silent auction and unveiling of the Lightning’s new breast cancer awareness hat. Norville, who has more than three decades of reporting experience and is the anchor of the nation’s top-rated syndicated newsmagazine, Inside Edition, will speak at 7 p.m. Former Lightning captain Dave Andreychuk will be on hand to sign the new Lightning hats beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Norville’s book breaks exciting new ground proving that gratitude is the secret key to unlocking one’s full-life potential. Norville uses a journalist’s approach to uncover the science that details the surprising life improvements that can result from the practice of gratitude.

Thank You Power brings together the behavioral and psychological research that proves what many have long suspected: acknowledging what’s good in life brings satisfaction and blessings. Beginning with two small words, thank you, Norville shows how you can be healthier, happier, more resilient, have better relationships and even be “smarter” – better at problem solving and making associations.

Cost for this special evening is $75 per person, with RSVPs needed by September 28. Those wishing to support breast cancer research can purchase tickets by calling 813.301.6814 or 813.301.6764. Robb & Stucky Interiors, International Plaza, is located at 2223 Westshore Blvd. in Tampa.
