Oh, the places you can eat.

At AMALIE Arena, it's not just the action on the ice that is sure to leave a lasting impression; it's the array of food and beverage options, too.

As with most sports and entertainment venues, the arena offers traditional options like hot dogs, jumbo-hot pretzels and finger foods. But the hidden gems and "local" flavors located on all three levels of the 600,000 square-foot facility? They'll be sure to leave you more satisfied than a hat trick.

Here's a look at some of the dining options - and delicious menu choices - AMALIE Arena has to offer.

Smoke's Poutinerie

Location: Section 306

Specialties: Several different types of poutine, including a double pork poutine with pulled pork and double-smoked bacon.

Our order: Classic poutine - gravy, cheese curds and French fries

These fries are, well, loaded. Prior to this experience, one might have never laid eyes on a poutine. But it certainly won't be the last when you try it once.

Smoke's stuffs crispy, seasoned French fries into its signature box, fills it with gravy and tops it with plenty of delicious cheese curds. And, of course, it's all served piping hot. The combination is good for one fan or even to share. Just don't forget a fork - and plenty of napkins.

Holy Hog BBQ

Locations: Section 124, Bud Light Party Deck

Specialties: Texas Style Smoke Beef Brisket sandwich, Slow Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich, and BBQ Sausage Manwich

Our order: Beef Brisket sandwich with chips

One bite into this oversized sandwich and it will feel like a teleportation to the Lone Star State itself.

Packed between two buns with a heaping amount of barbecue, topped with any one of Holy Hog's signature sauces, this sandwich is a meat lover's delight. The side of crunchy chips paired with an ice cold beverage will surely leave fans filled as they watch the action on the ice below.

Grilled Cheese & Mac and Cheese

Location: Sections 123, 325

Specialties: Mac and cheese with your choice of topping, stuffed grilled cheese

Our order: Grilled cheese with jalapenos, side of potato chips

This kiosk puts a tasty twist on an American home kitchen favorite.

The traditional grilled cheese can be filled with the fan's choice of toppings - we chose to get it packed with jalapenos for an extra kick - with a side of kettle chips. Though the spice, at times, was enough to potentially cause a five-alarm fire within the taste buds, the sandwich was delicious. It's hard to beat a classic, but Grilled Cheese & Mac and Cheese brings it to a whole new level.

Bay Club Sliders

Location: Tampa Bay Club, Section 210

Specialties: Burger sliders, chicken Florentine sliders, fries

Our order: Sliders (3) and fries

How does one sum up these not-so-little wonders in a word? Filling.

Upon first glance, the mini-burgers freshly prepared by in-house chefs at Bay Club Sliders might appear a little diminutive, as with most sliders. But just a just a nibble is certain to spawn a major flavor trip.

Topped with cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato and savory onion, the piping-hot burgers don't even need ketchup or mustard (although condiments are available). The juicy taste of the fresh beef and each crispy is satisfying on its own.
