TBL-NYI-3

The Tampa Bay Lightning hit the road to Brooklyn on Monday to face the New York Islanders at 7 p.m. in the first leg of a five-game trip.

Tampa Bay (8-6-1) comes into the game looking to regroup after a 3-1 loss to the defending Western Conference champion San Jose Sharks on Saturday at AMALIE Arena. The Bolts got a third-period goal from defenseman Anton Stralman, who chipped in a rebound, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback.
The Islanders, which have not gotten past the Lightning in two meetings this month, are two games below .500 at 5-7-3 after an overtime loss to the Panthers in Sunrise on Saturday. This is the final meeting between Tampa Bay and New York in the regular season.
