The Minnesota Wild selected Pouliot with their first round, fourth-overall pick in the 2005 NHL Draft
Scored 16 goals and 16 assists for 32 points and a plus 18 for the Boston Bruins last season
Played for the Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL, which were coached by current Lightning head coach Guy Boucher. While in Hamilton, Pouliot played alongside two current Bolts in Tom Pyatt and JT Wyman
Spent the 2010-2011 season with the Montreal Canadiens, where he scored 13 goals and had 17 assists for 30 points.
Assisted assist on an overtime goal on Game 1 of the Boston vs. Washington playoff series on April 12. He followed that up with his first career playoff goal in his next outing in game 2.
