Here are tonight's degrees of separation between the Bolts and the Oilers:

-Teddy Purcell will play against with his former team tonight when the Oilers host the Bolts. Purcell spent the five previous seasons with the Lightning.

-Oilers forward Benoit Pouliot also spent time in Tampa Bay. The forward spent the 2012-13 season as a Bolt.

-Bolts defenseman Eric Brewer played four seasons with the Oilers between 2000-04, skating in 315 games and netting 29 goals along with 100 points.

-Bolts goaltender Ben Bishop and Edmonton’s David Perron were teammates with the St. Louis Blues for two seasons (2008-09 & 2010-11).
