The Lightning fell 3-2 to the Bruins at TD Garden in Boston on Thursday.
With the loss, Tampa Bay drops out of the top three in the Atlantic Division and into one of the Eastern Conference wild card positions.

Twice Tampa Bay took the lead on goals from Brandon Hagel - his first as a Bolt - and Steven Stamkos, but David Pastrnak and the Bruins had an answer on each occasion.
Boston eventually took their first lead of the night just over four minutes to play in regulation when Pastrnak completed his hat trick to put the Bruins up for good.
Up next for the Bolts is a weekend back-to-back set that begins on Saturday afternoon against the Red Wings in Detroit.
