After last night's overtime thriller against the Senators, the Lightning jumped on a bus and arrived in Montreal at around 1:30 a.m.
, injured on a big hit by Chris Neil last night, will not play against the Canadiens tomorrow night. The team has him listed as day-to-day and he will be continually evaluated by the team's medical staff. Hedman said today that he is feeling better and did not think Neil's hit was dirty.
After a good night's sleep, the Lightning held a 2 p.m. practice today at the Bell Centre in Montreal and worked on some regroups, breakouts and a few other things.
Hedman got a chance to catch up with some old friends as Sweden's national junior team, many former teammates of his, was at practice this afternoon. The Swedes are in town playing some local colleges in exhibition games.
The Lightning will have an 11:30 a.m. morning skate tomorrow in preparation for the 7:00 p.m. game against Montreal. The game will be aired on Sun Sports with Rick Peckham, Bobby Taylor and Chris Dingman on the call. Also Dave Mishkin will be behind the microphone for AM 620 WDAE.
