Bolts vs. Sens Keys to the Game

Keys to the Game

Hello Bolts Nation! We're starting a new feature here on with Keys to the Game, to give you a few things to look for as you watch that night's game on Sun Sports.

For tonight as the Lightning face the Ottawa Senators, here are a few items:

Steven Stamkos and Vincent Lecavalier form the highest scoring teammates in the NHL with 41 goals in 38 games (Toews and Sharp have 41 in 39) and need to continue to lead the attack. Stammer's seven goals in four games is the hottest four game stretch of his career.
Keep the Good Times Starting. The Bolts got off to some rough starts earlier in the season, but have been getting that first goal much more often lately. They opened the scoring ten times in December, among the league leaders.
Tampa Bay had some great third periods during the recent home stand and will need more on this trip, especially tonight. Ottawa has roared back from 0-3 and 0-2 down in their last two at home to win in overtime. Ottawa has scored 59 third period goals, tied for most in the league.
He's been the Roly we knew last season in quality wins over the Pens, Flyers, Hawks and Panthers and everyone knows Dwayne Roloson is needed now. He goes tonight against a team the Bolts have to catch.

Enjoy the game everyone!
