Lecavalier and St. Louis came together as one of the most dynamic duos in the National Hockey League last season, posting a combined 95 goals and 210 points. As one of only two pairs of teammates to reach the 40-goal plateau, Lecavalier and St. Louis were the only duo to post more than 100 points apiece. The pair finished third and fifth, respectively, in the NHL scoring race. Scoring 52 goals last season, Lecavalier earned the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy as the league's leading goal scorer. Lecavalier set new personal and franchise highs with the mark, as well as setting a new franchise record with 108 points in a single season.Following a busy off-season, newcomers Jan Hlavac and Michel Ouellet add depth and excitement to the roster alongside returning skaters Chris Gratton and Brad Lukowich.
