Tampa Bay’s Martin St. Louis is one of five players in the NHL to have sole possession of first place on their team in points and plus-minus with 62 points and a +10 rating.

The Lightning are one of five teams (DET, PHI, PIT, WSH, TBL) to have three 20-goal scorers this season (Lecavalier, Malone, St. Louis)

Steven Stamkos has outpaced Vincent Lecavalier’s rookie season … Stamkos’ 13 goals, 29 points and five power-play goals have tied or surpassed Lecavalier’s 13 goals, 28 points and 2 power-play goals.

Mark Recchi’s five assists Sunday at Calgary tied his career high and set a franchise record for assists in a game.

3/3 vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins (32-26-6)

This is the third of four meetings between Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh this season, the first at the St. Pete Times Forum.

The Lightning have posted a 1-0-1 record against the Penguins in two games at Mellon Arena this season.

Tampa Bay has posted a 6-2-0 record in their previous eight games at home against Pittsburgh.

Former Penguins Mark Recchi and Ryan Malone have combined for a goal and four points in two games against Pittsburgh this season.

Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis each have a goal and two points in two games against the Pens in 2008-09.

The Lightning have killed nine of 10 times shorthanded against Pittsburgh this season.

3/6 vs. the St. Louis Blues (28-26-8)

This is the first and only meeting between the Lightning and Blues this season.

Tampa Bay has posted a 3-0-1 record in their previous four games at home against St. Louis, and have won two in a row overall.

The Lightning won the only meeting last season, 5-4, at the Savvis Center … Martin St. Louis had a goal and three assists.

St. Louis native Mike McKenna will face his hometown team for the first time in his NHL career.
Martin St. Louis had two goals and six points in his previous six games against the Blues.

3/7 vs. the Carolina Hurricanes (32-27-5)

This is the sixth and final meeting between the Lightning and Hurricanes this season with Tampa Bay posting a 0-3-2 record against them and a 0-1-1 record at home.

The Lightning have outscored Carolina 6-3 in the first period this season.

Carolina’s Eric Staal has four goals and five points in five games against Tampa Bay this season.
