TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning, AMALIE Arena and Delaware North, the team's official food and beverage provider, will be bringing a more fan-friendly concept to their concessions for the upcoming season, introducing new design kitchen concepts throughout the building.

Beginning at the start of the Lightning preseason, fans will see the newly designed concession stands that offer the new grab-and-go features. These newly designed concession stands will give fans and guests the chance to get their favorite foods faster and be able to see their food before they purchase it. The renovations at the concession stands will also feature the majority of the serving stations to be below counter height. This new practice will enhance the engagement Lightning fans and guests have with the exterior windows.
The newly designed concession stands will also utilize technology and IPTV platforms to help guests with their ordering process. Each concession stand will have multiple digital menu boards to assist with branding and menu recognition.
Portillo's, the home of America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, salads and chocolate cake, will be opening a new concession outside of section 310 at AMALIE Arena for the start of the 2019-20 season. Portillo's will debut their new location on September 17 at the Lightning's preseason home game against the Carolina Hurricanes, offering fans the chance to purchase Chicago-style dogs, chili and cheese hot dogs, Italian beef, fries and chili and/or cheese fries.
