While neither Nikita Kucherov nor Andrei Vasilevskiy took home any hardware at the Skills Competition on Friday night, the two Lightning All-Stars finished up the weekend as champions of the All-Star Game as the Atlantic Division skated to a 10-6 win over the Metropolitan Division in the semifinal before defeating the Central Division, 7-5, in the final.

Kucherov scored the Atlantic's sixth goal of the game in the semifinal when he took a pass from Mitch Marner (TOR) at the right circle before patiently waiting and beating Ilya Sorokin (NYI) on the glove side to tie the game at six apiece with 5:29 remaining.
From there, the Atlantic grabbed the momentum and scored four consecutive goals (two empty-net tallies) over the final 4:09 of the game to advance to the final.
Vasilevskiy played the entire second half of the semifinal for the Atlantic and made 10 saves, the most of all four goaltenders that appeared in the contest.
In the final game, Kucherov added his second goal of the day to make it 2-0 for the Atlantic 4:05 into the contest. Teaming up with Marner once again, Kucherov sent a pass to his division rival before the two completed a perfect give-and-go with Kucherov beating Juuse Saros (NSH) over the glove with a top-shelf backhander.
Following Kucherov's goal, Dylan Larkin (DET) recorded back-to-back tallies to make it a 4-0 game before David Pastrnak (BOS) and Rasmus Dahlin (BUF) added goals of their own. Larkin also scored the Atlantic's sixth goal of the contest to complete his hat trick.
Vasilevskiy made 11 saves in the second half of the final, tied with Saros for the most among all four goaltenders. The Atlantic never trailed in the final.
As champions of the All-Star Game, the Atlantic Division team was awarded a check for $1 million to be split amongst members of the team. Matthew Tkachuk (FLA) was named MVP of the All-Star Game with four goals and three assists for seven points over the two-game span.
The Lightning return to game action on Monday night with a matchup against the Florida Panthers at FLA Live Arena. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. ET.
